Ruth Connolly - Laundry

'I am continually fascinated by the balance and tension between people and place, by the affect of the landscape on its inhabitants and vice versa. I am interested in the traces we leave behind, either unintentionally, in the tracks left by walking through a field, or intentionally, in a vase of flowers placed in a window as a way of marking our place in the world, a way of showing we have been here.'

Ruth Connolly is a Dublin based photographer and lecturer, with an MA in Photography from Central Saint Martins, London. She has exhibited internationally and has a published book, If you lived here, you'd be home by now which deals with lingering ghost estates across Ireland since the economic crash of 2008.

C-Type print on A3 matte photo paper

Edition of 50

Please note border sizes vary due to differences in film and digital format. If you select the first option we will print the image as close to A3 as possible but there may be a small white border. The second option offers an A4 image on an A3 sheet, meaning the print will have a larger white border, which can be useful when framing.
